Timothy Paul Erdel, PhDTimothy Paul Erdel, PhD

Associate Professor of Religion & Philosophy, Bethel College

Timothy Paul Erdel teaches philosophy, religion, and in the humanities at Bethel College, Indiana, where he is also campus archivist and theological librarian. A Missionary Church minister who served with World Partners in Jamaica, Tim spent his formative years in Ecuador. A book review editor for Philosophia Christi since 2003, one of several editorial posts, his research interests include philosophy of religion, social ethics, world religions, and Church history. Tim rejoices in his wife Sally, a nurse educator, their three grown children, and a grandson. An avid noon-hoops player, Tim was recently honored by Bethel as a Distinguished Professor.
